Elishiva, school comes first, so concentrate on dates if that is what it takes. What is your major?

Norm, ideas for your title are on your thread.

Kind of like the 1/4 mike of ship chain used to pull the dragon out of the water in game of thrones. North of the wall. In the middle of nowhere, while the army of dead only carries swords and weapons.

I nearly lost my shit right there.

Back on track...

Book title ideas
Rapture of the Antichrist
Revelations Within the Rapture
The Day of Rapture
The Body of Christ
Second Son
Reborn In The Rapture

I feel for you, brother. Likely, the rule about hardcopy is required by the IRS, so put the blame where it belongs. The IRS is a bunch of dumbasses. I'm probably jinxing myself, you realize.

Let the good times roll. Le bon temps roulez...

You're worth it.

Forget the energy, I'm just glad I don't owe thousands of dollars that I have to come up with out of the blue.

To keep my life insurance, I have to choke up 13K a year. Health insurance is going from 650 dollars a mo to 1600 per month (starting in April or May) I'm going to be eating mac and cheese all year. This tax refund is going to be a bit of light in a very dark tunnel.

Norm, that wasn't a paragraph. News about the Normster, please.

I'm back. Believe it or not, there is a chapter up that is new and awaiting the beady eyes of 'whoever' has the time.

How is everyone doing? Give a single paragraph on your timeline or here, for that matter. I'm so out of the loop that I'm not sure about NJC and Janet (and I just met up with them three weeks ago).

Here is the update on me.

Chemo continues, but each time I do maintenance chemo, it seems that my energy is better and I have more living to do. I got a lot done over the weekend. There was a medieval feast, so I parked my tookas in the kitchen, dressed in norse garb and wearing a borrowed apron so I didn't spill grease on the linen outfit. It was a solid 10 hours cooking chicken, slicing oranges, etc, and then plating the food for the hungry heifers (my term of endearment for anybody with a crown). My biggest contribution was saving the chicken from being overcooked. Like, I saved ALL the chicken for 100+ people. Go me. Also, I got to see people that I normally only see once a year.

Sunday, I sang in choir and saved the altos from alto-maggedon. I learned the part in a day and then got thrown into the performance with three other women who struggle to carry a tune. It was fun being able to blast-sing and pray that I was on the right note. FYI, I have pipes when I want them. I had enough fun that I might just go this Thursday and practice with them again. They liked me enough that they offered me my own robe and my own folder for the music.  It was cute. In return, I get to learn the alto part for Handel. Pray for me.

Monday I slept a LOT. Today was my doc apt (and I finished the Saundon chapter,) and tomorrow is chemo again. wash, rinse, repeat.

Oh, and last Thursday, I did my taxes and found out that there is a refund and I don't owe crazy amounts of money.

How about everybody else?

You only need to let me know. I might not get to it immediately, but you'll be on my radar

K has an itchy trigger finger on that buzzer. It has meanings that I can't quite define. Like an onion. Lotsa layers and makes the unprepared cry a  lot.

What group is this?

I heard about this one about fifteen years ago, but I can still see it happening. Whether or not it is true, the amusement value cannot be denied.

Welcome home:-)

Dunno, world domination sounds like fun. And Perrysburg is three streets and a river from my house. I will see you Friday, Janet!  NEw Jersey is welcome if he can make it out that day, Jan 12. Would LOVE to talk books and recharge!

Merry Xmas everybody.

I've talked to her on the phone. She has a cool accent. Eh, you just live in Canada, eh.

Kudos to BFO. Strengths of characters are obvious and easy. Weaknesses are what define a character because that is what they have to surpass in order to succeed.

take your time. It's not like I'm ripping out the reviews lately. I'm mulling the next chapter of the ending, though.

Yoda was a puppet, and the wise character. Not the child comic relief.

Sci-Fi fans hate the token child-like character. Same as Wesley Crusher from TNG Star Trek.

I'm hanging about and just posted my first chapter in a month or so. Maybe two months. But my energy is a lot better on maintenance chemo, and I'm going to start writing at the local library. Kind of assigned office, where I'll take the same approach that I did with my master's thesis. Step by step, I'll get it done.

Dictates of Faith (about Alda, Jaylene, and Tazar) is morphing into something different than expected, but I'm following this thread until I rewrite this version.

And I have Friday blocked off for hanging out with you. Saturday, we can swim my kids and give you a chance to meet them. You are going back to Seattle on Sunday, right?  I can't wait!

New Jersey,

Just checking in for a status update and notice for everybody else. I'm on maintenance chemo now (3 of the five meds that I was on continue) with various continuing side effects that don't need elaboration. My energy level is better, especially the first few days. I got a lot of stuff done this past cycle, xmas cards, the tree, cleaning out a corner so that the tree will fit...decorating said tree.

Not any writing, but if my energy continues, then watch out world.

Disney went well. I did a ton of walking, and proved to myself that I'm not as feeble as everyone else seems to think that I am. My sister threw her back out, and all I had was some bruising on my ankles. A small price to pay. We went to Animal Kingdom, the Magic Kingdom (twice) and Hollywood Studios. Only one day for Universal Studios, but we made it count.

Collin already wants to go back and he can keep on wanting. The price tag was pretty steep. I told him it is going to be years before he gets to head back that way.

I'm scarce but not forgotten. Talk soon, Ya'll.
