suggestion: If you want 2B catholics, tie conversion to the vaccinations. If Dr S. is catholic, she might give preference to allotments that target Catholic churches. That would get recruitment up, and then by the time the vaccine's side effects are visible, people have already indoctrinated.

You're welcome :-)

Elisha, don't take it personally. He loves to reuse words and does it consistently to make a point in the writing. I haven't figured out why, but it is a style point for New Jersey. You are completely justified to point it out.

You need to use Facebook to post the more interesting findings that you look up, along with footnotes to show where you found them. I think it could be your niche, Dirk.

I remember one of my acquaintances (who had tried to be a priest) talking about the saints and some of the story backgrounds. The patron saint of airplane pilots is a good one. St Joseph is my favorite.

St. Joseph of Cupertino was an Italian Franciscan priest who lived in the 17th century. He levitated. Poking him with pins and burning embers wouldn’t stop his soaring. “The Flying Friar” would only land when his superiors ordered him down. Pope Clement XIII gave him the nod in 1767.

My understanding from the person I learned this from was that they had to pad the roof supports to prevent injury so that St Joseph wouldn't whack his head during these ecstasies.

If you are looking for a niche on Facebook, then consider starting there. I'd love to read about stuff like that.

Oh, it was awesome to see your face finally. You look hot. Now start posting some stuff. Doesn't have to be pics of you. Maybe just neat sites that you want to share.

I get chemo tomorrow, but will see if I can find some time this week for Romans in Space.

ACME rules!

I posted two revised chapters of Dictates. Slow but sure.

Got good news at the doc office today. My latest scan shows no increase in the tumor. Chemo is still working. The doc pulled a study for me that showed actual data of people with my kind of cancer and how long the chemo usually works. Great news is that I should have at least another year until the cancer progresses. A full year-free and clear. I made it through the twelve rounds of chemo and now they are adjusting my doses to help with symptoms.

I'm a happy camper today. Christmas, Fourth of July, Birthdays, they all became possible. Hell, I might go to the Pennsic War for the entire two weeks.

Later, folks.

I like Norm's. Pithy and quick without contractions

Welcome to the group, a pile of people who have opinions and know how to use them. I'm one of the inattentives, but I check in now and then as my medical stuff takes a break on me.

I just want to give you some encouragement. It was only once I found this website that I started to become a writer instead of a reader. Big difference. That is why no one wants to give opinions or read your material  (just guessing because that is what happened to me.) Once I found a group who gave honest feedback, that is when I improved.

Get your story out there. It is time to tell your tale.

It means you have a heart. Don't worry. I won't tell anyone.

He called her a talented louse. Love the phrase. Just love it.

And I can take it. Not half as bad as my surgeons on a bad day.

I eat lots of salt, so I take her critique on a case by case basis

Your point about melody is valid. I haven't been writing her, and I'm starting to wonder if she is going to go by the wayside as excess that isn't necessary. Haven't seen TW's review yet, but character advice from someone whose main character commits infanticide and has no redeeming social qualities will be taken with a grain of salt.

My niece had the same problem. The traffic was awful. She was in Kentucky and it took her more than 18 hours to get to Pittsburgh. At least you made it without incident. Nice to know that traffic congestion isn't just limited to your state :-)

New chapter is up. I'm writing you the ending, NJC. Chapter 40 of Mantle of Magic.

Enjoy

I trust you to write what you like and edit later. Your book is about having fun. Feel free to be silly. Feel free to add firepower.
