You make diagrams for published works? What did you do for Bab 5?

I don't think Sil thinks much about what people know or believe. That is just what she calls herself. But I'm delighted that I dished up some awesome sauce!  Whoopee!

I'll try to give you some love and attention. Just have to have enough time to catch up on sleep first. You haven't been forgotten.

OK, the next chapter of Dictates is up. As usual, I just had to sit down and force myself to start. Then the words came out without a problem. Just tell yourself that you are doing 500 words minimum. Even in a block, I can write 500 words. If it is more, then bonus time!

Woot woot!  Great job and well deserved!

I like NJC's earwax visual better than mine. (Bows to the Master of Earwax in defeat)

I have a visual of green/gold earwax over a spotlight. Come to think of it, maybe I had better stop talking about this

Only you could turn earwax into an analogy.

K,

We've all been there. Just make yourself write/ rewrite at least a page per day. Otherwise, set fire to the thing and start over :-) Talk about killing off characters!

I only give last names to nobility (humans). However,I may have a character who insists on being called by a full name and corrects everyone who doesn't address him correctly. (In honor of my autistic son who does exactly that to me- the person who spawned him:-)

Your book isn't in the rip-apart category. Transpose the word rip with teaching.

When I first started working as a paramedic(many moons ago), I didn't know the city very well. At the start, I was worried whenever I worked with someone else new. What I found is that we did fine because the gaps in my experience weren't the same as the other person's.

So some people will learn more from you than otherwise, but they can still fill in gaps you didn't know were there.

But I still can't read whole books. It takes time from writing. Now I read first chapters or first pages and then put the book down.

Time to get them out of your head! Hey, do you want to read that vignette I wrote for the end of Dictates? It's short, but it has a great power moment in it...(holds carrot out)

Written in a very different time. The dragon rider series has F'lar smacking around Lessa to calm her down. I didn't read these for life lessons. They were just good characters and good story.

Just set aside some time for writing. You're filling your time with another big project. I can't wait another two years to find out what happens!

I stopped reading for pleasure when I got serious about writing. It seems to be one or the other for me. I went back and reread Anne McCaffery's Crystal Singer, but that is the only exception in two years. I'll revert back to reading later but I have to finish my story first and don't want the distraction.

It's no fair. Your stones come with pictures. I'll just have to pay you back with volume. You have to stop giving me so many chances!

Meanie. I trip up on one word. One word, people!

For my graduation from PA school, my dad asked me what I wanted. I asked for a chainsaw. Trust me. If the zombies come, you wanna know me.

Girls have tools too. One of my best moments was buying a 20 foot ladder because I had to be able to reach my roof.

Realize that his work is written in a vignette style. The pieces of the puzzle are there, but they aren't assembled yet. So you could read chapters in a loose format, skipping about (if you want.)  That is why he's telling you chapters to start that number 66/67/82/and 87. I'm assuming that these are all a single storyline, but confirm with New Jersey. That way, you are reviewing his current work so it is pertinent.

I'm currently working on Dictates and playing at revising Mandates from the first chapter. K is working on Victorious, but the characters are from all of his past books. As a new reviewer, you might be able to help him make sense of the large amount of characters coming together at once. This has to be a challenge since he normally doesn't name more than three characters per book. (Not being snarky here. Just truth.)

Back to being snarky...I cackle really well. I used to work in a haunted house. I like the idea of a pinata that glows in the dark...
