The remaining days to Hangu Pass were a repetitive blur for Yin Su. She got up. She walked. She foraged for food. She submitted to her husband. At one point her feet began to bleed. Her reed sandals did not offer enough protection for walking long distances for such a prolonged period. Her Husband rearranged enough items in the cart so that she could sit on the bags of grain.
She repaired her sandals with roadside grass.
She had not realized how easy her life had been up to this point.

Reminds me of some of my short chapters
Yon Su is a heroic character amongst heroic characters.
