If this is for a query, then there are things that need to be added to this. Like the title, word count, comps (similar books to visualize the plot) and classification for the story. IMO, you can't use the query for a blurb or synopsis. These need to be crafted individually.

Example:

INTO THE MIND OF GOD is a 75K HF novel set in the 41st century. Comps are STAR WARS meets the movie CALIGULA. The story centers around Joseph and Apollo, teens who grow up worlds apart but are both visited by a being who calls himself God. I've been accused of many things, and that is appropriate. I used that in my introduction to new members on the group. Don't blame me. Janet started it.

I picked this thread because I'm about to remind you about winter. I figure last year, you established a baseline tolerance to the cold and will expect the same thing to happen. Winter is sneaky. Don't expect the same weather.

1) Fill up the fluids in your car and get the oil checked.
2) Use a non-freezing windshield wiper fluid that coats your windshield (like armor-all)
3) Replace your windshield wiper blades.
4) Throw the shovel back in your car.
5) Put the scraper/brush back in your car along with an extra set of gloves.
6) A bag of sand or salt in your trunk. Also put 3-4 old towels in the car (the most useful first aid item you could possibly stockpile)
7) Don't forget to have signal flares available in your trunk. At least three. Just in case. If you do decide to light them for an accident, then make sure they are FAR away from any spilled gasoline.

It's autumn weather down here. We might get an indian summer, but it's too early to tell.
