Sol, I want to thank you so much for these contests. I don't know about anyone else, but these little competitions have made me a better writer!

A big hand to Seabrass, Marilyn, and Graymartin! This contest had to be a bear to judge, as there were so many great entries.
CHEERS to EVERYONE involved! This challenge was very much that. But it was also lots of fun:-)

Just re-read the winning stories. All are chilling, entertaining and funny. Congrats to Seabrass, Graymartin and Marilyn Johnson. Well-deserved!

Congrats Seabrass and MJ, and thanks to Sol for an entertaining contest. There were a dozen plus entries that could have taken the top spots, so I'm not sure how the judges decided in the end. Must have been a tough job.

Thanks for all the kind remarks, and thanks to Sol for such a fun contest! There were many worthy stories submitted, and it surprised me to find one of mine chosen as a runner-up. Congrats to Seabrass and to graymartin, too. I'm glad I wasn't a judge because that would have been a tough task. I am looking forward to the next picture contest. It's always fun to see how many different angles one picture can evoke.

Yay! Spur of the moment idea sees the light of day, bears fruit! Who'da thunk that first entry all those moons ago would hold up like that? In reading some of the reviews, a few people called it way in the back when, too. Wow! (I wonder... were they judges?)
Congrats to gray and mj for coming up with such stellar takes on that little image. It sure looked easy, all things considered, but turned out to be much more difficult. Lots of entries! Like a buffet of ideas. All spurred by that image.
Funny, though, how many people refer to me as Seabass. Where'd that 'r' go? Probably in one of my postings...

Congratulations Seebrass, Marilyn, and Graymartin! A job well done. Oh, I'm afraid, Seabrass, that I make the same mistake. I keep track of those who review my stuff for my C4C, and yep, there you are--Seabass. lol But congratulations all around to everyone!

Congrats to the winners. Good reads. And thanks to The Next Big Writer for sending me the email announcing the contest. It got me into thinking about writing again, and actually writing new stuff, and into revisiting and trying to improve some older writes of mine. I'm having some fun.

Yep, I saw your earlier message Seabrass. I hope people will see your "R". I thought maybe you were high-ranking in the navy! Anyway, Congrats on your winning story!
