Hi everyone. I'm 60 and live alone. And I'm happy:-) I might one day get a pet, but I haven't decided if it'll be a dog or a cat. Probably a cat. I've got big time arthritis and even a small dog might be too much. But I'll play it by ear...
I served in the Marine Corps from 1978 to 1981. I was a basic combat engineer.
After the Marines, I worked many jobs, never finding satisfaction. I also attended a community college, off and on, also winding up disappointed. Presently, I'm unemployed, but when I feel the need, I apply for work at just about any place.
I'm a Christian, a fairly conservative one, but I don't try to force my beliefs upon others. I just try to live it out. Then too, I don't shy away from mentioning Christianity in my stories and poetry.
I've been on this site since May, 2013, or so, and I've enjoyed it a great deal!
