Hi folks,
I've come back to the site for the time being. I'm feeling disconnected from my close writer friends as so many have stopped writing 
I'm hoping for new connections and to rekindle old relationships. I've just uploaded the first three chapters of Incarnate, my latest work, and would appreciate some feedback. I am happy to reciprocate.

Hello! While I am incredibly new to this site, I have loved all the feedback I received. It has helped tremendously when I edit and as I write future chapters of my story. I will be happy to read some of your works this weekend.

I think (I hope!) it's going to be great to be back! "Maypops in September" has gone through several incarnations and actually was read in full by a couple of pretty impressive agents. Who then rejected it. Lol! And I'm not willing to stick with my 1st publisher, so it's back to the drawing board for me.

Welcome Silvia. A lot of us come around in spurts mostly due to work and life in general, but you can always hit people up through messaging, or through the read/review process. Good luck!
Welcome back! I've only been in here a few years, and I did survive the changes into the new system (since I was hot and heavy in my WIP) I do take a bit of time off every so often, especially between projects, and right now I'm a bit behind in my reviews, but I do get around.
As to developing a new circle - pop in here once in a while, and do some reviews of work you like. Even though I sometimes backslide, I still find the love and support of great reader/writers in here. I'll make it a point to check your work.

Oh my! I have two accounts? I didn't even know that. I suppose the one with my middle initial is the one to use because that's the one I'm using right now, lol. I don't know how to get rid of that other one. I guess I'll leave it be since I don't remember creating it.

Welcome back, Jeanne. I recall you from the Beforetime. I'll be happy to be a reviewer, and am glad you re-start writing. Appropro of kung fu, a friend of mine, after his 5th degree Black Belt said, "You can stop, but never quit." (Or to put it another way--"You can check out any time you want, but you can never leave.") I hadn't done any serious writing for about five years, and found that some of my writing buddies were gone from the site--but some were on Facebook. Write and they weill come.
