I’ve been making a good part of my living through writing for the last 20 years—radio, screen, print and music. The one elusive credit I’ve yet to add to my writing resume is landing one of my novels on the desk of a mainstream publisher.

Until then, I am one amongst many of the huddled masses who have ventured into the world of self-publishing.

I joined this writing site in 2006, and became a writing member in 2007. I’ve received more significant help with honing my writing skills here, than any of the years I spent in college. Since joining, I’ve managed to complete; 4 full-length novels, 2 novellas, countless short stories and more poetry/music than I dare to list—most of which were workshopped here under one of my two pen names.

As a reviewer, I tend to be on the tough side, blunt even. Don't take offense, it's always meant in the spirit of wanting to help. I learned the hard way that even though it's sometimes painful to hear--tough critique is, and can be, ultimately transformative.

When I’m not busy being hunched over my writing computer, I try to keep my dogs from barking.
