Hey everyone!! My name is Charles O'Connor. I'm a 35 yr. old prose poet of weird and fantastic literature. My work has seen publication many times, but my goal is to eventually become a short story writer.
I have high functioning asperger syndrome. As a result my grammar suffers more than the average person, and so does my ability to write 3 dimensional characters. Like most "as" authors, I approach stories in my own unique fashion. With this in mind, please be kind and encouraging with all points of criticism--I'm not asking for a free ride though. In the past I've had bad experiences with people-- a few rude and narcissistic individuals who believed their way was the only way to write.
I'm a kind person who is excited to be here, make friends, help others, improve my craft, and anything else that might come along. :) Basically, be the best "me" I can be.
I also collect weird fiction memorbillia--some items in my possession are almost 100 years old. I have 2 cats, a wonderful girlfriend, and take each day as it comes!!
