Hi Martin, and welcome aboard!
TNBW is a great place to be--plenty of helpful people. I second Sideman's comments about getting involved. Look forward to checking out your work when you begin posting. Regards, Randall

I learned to begin on a new line every time a character changes.
Many thanks, C.E. and Eva!
Many thanks, Christine and Ann!

You might want to move your initial posting so people can earn points, which are needed to post new work.
Thank you, Randall!!:) How do I move my post? Sorry, I'm a complete newb?
Go to your Publishing settings and select the "Premium" which has the stack of coins next to it.
Many thanks, CJ! I got tied up and didn't get a chance to send this along to Inksplatter.:)
Many thanks, everyone!
Hi everyone,
Just signed a contract for Mission: Angola (Xavier Sear Thriller Book 1) with Solstice Publishing. Many thanks to all who provided chapter reviews as the story unfolded. Couldn't have achieved this without your help!
Thanks again and best regards,
Randall

So cool. Congrats, Randall!
Many thanks, Gray!
Congrats!!!
Many thanks, Don!
Many thanks, Bill. I don't remember his name but can dig it up if you want. He was one of six who auditioned for the role through Amazon's Audible.
Hi everyone,
Colombian Betrayal, workshopped on TNBW was released earlier this year. Today it went live as an audiobook. If anyone is a member of Audible and is interested in a free download, please let me know and I'll send you a free redemption code. Unfortunately, this is only available for those who use Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk and I think iTunes. All I ask for is an honest review after you've listened.
Thanks and regards, Randall

Longevity and reviewing over that time span is the key. I think, though Sol might correct me on this, I’ve been a member here since 2008. Twelve years, nine novels workshopped, and tens of hundreds of reviews later, I remain committed to TNBW. I’ve given my reasons for my continued membership here a few times over those years. A site such as this can’t be beat for novel critiques. Whether you self-publish or want to polish before submission to a publisher, you can’t go wrong with letting the knowledgeable folks at TNBW weigh in on your creation.
Well said!
I've got over 4K.
Way to go, Jack!
Definitely not me at 350~. But then, I've put five entire novels through TNBW plus chapters from three more.:)
Completed an inline review of Jube's The World of Phyries, chapter 39.
It sometimes take me two to three weeks to reciprocate all incoming reviews. I'm too addle minded to track that much information for any length of time. I want to make sure everyone who is supposed to gets a recip.
Don't know if it will help, but I keep an acknowledgements log for those who have read my work (and where I'm at with them). This also provides me with the names of those I want to acknowledge when I'm ready to publish.
This is the best example I can find in the Chicago Manual of Style:
the cardinal; John Cardinal Dew (in formal contexts) or Cardinal John Dew; Cardinal Dew; the sacred college of cardinals.
Based on this, it appears it should be Pope's council of cardinal advisors. Perhaps some others will chime in, but that's what I would be using.
Completed an inline review of CJ's Final Conflict, chapter 4.
Completed an inline review of Matthew's Humanity's Abyss:The Girl Who Lost the Earth, Book 2, chapter 3.
Will be getting to the revised list shortly. Just finished my first edit pass of Xavier Sear: Angola and sent it to my ARC team. My goals is to send it to my publisher the beginning of December. In the meantime, back to reading, reviewing, and writing.
Hello everyone ... I just joined today & I'm looking forward to sharing my poetry/prose
Hello Elizabeth,
Welcome to the site! Plenty of helpful folks here, so I hope you enjoy the experience.
Regards, Randll
Note to Randall K.: I'm planning on reviewing your next two chapters. I stopped to think about the first of the two and other events overtook things I may do both non inline and inline.
No worries. I see you've competed some reviews. I'm just getting Xavier Sear: Angola ready to send out to my ARC team and then I'll begin catching up.
Oops... I wrote the above message and then went to his account to see if he'd posted anything. ACCOUNT CLOSED. That's odd.
I saw the same (after my welcome). Guess he changed his mind.:)
