My real name is Harriett Kardel. I live in Salinas, California. I have three sons, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-gransons. The agriculture and technology genes have been passed down through generations, and how this is exhibited in our offspring, even down to the youngest of the great-granchildren is a wonder. I once wrote a community-related column in the local paper. Now I write at home on this treasure of an online workshop. Recently, two of my poems were published, my first publication ever. I'm workshopping a poetry chapbook on this site which I hope to send out to publishers in 2015. I was brought up in Charlotte, MI. I went to college after my two oldest children were adults and youngest still at home, and got a degree in mathematics. While in my twenties I was employed at Mich. State Univ while husband went to college after Korean service.
Genre: Narrative poetry, short story
