The Computer
Here I sit at my desk
Thinking this has to be a test
The company gave me this thing
It supposedly does everything
It gets better reception than my T.V.
What in the world can it be
This thing is suppose to make my job a breeze
To be operated with the greatest of ease
But, they never showed me how to use it
All I’ve learned is how to abuse
Now, I need to ask, is it consider murder
To kill the company computer?

It's true people expect you to know how to do something without them showing to use it regardless what it is. Been there. I like it a lot. I can see it happening. My mind understands perfectly. Always write for yourself the way want it.
I started reading poems and like some and I posted 3 or 4 peoms. More power to your writings.

Thanks for your kind words. I try to always write for myself, but it doesn't always work that way unfortunately. I was a computer tech in the Air Force and more than once, I wanted to beat the daylights out of computer.
It wouldn't be a murder
Perhaps a mercy killing, but definitely not a homicide. I think the victim would have to have a soul in order to press charges.
Edit suggestions:
All I've learned is how to abuse (myself) OR (tax my sanity)
Now, I need to ask, is it (considered) murder to kill the company computer?

HI Nathan, when I used abuse, I was thinking about hitting it like you use to do to old T.V. s.
Maybe dropping it on the floor. A proven fix from my past.
