Welcome to TNBW, Don. It's a great place to be. Just read your chapter and left a review. Regards, Randall

Welcome, Yug.  This is the best website for reviews and support.  I think you will like it here.

Welcome, Don.  I look forward to reading your work.

Re: Welcome

Hello everyone. I've been a writer posting to the sister site, Booksie, for years now, but I want to refine my art as well as I can to make a bigger name for myself. I look forward to getting better and going pro.

Re: Welcome

Welcome PulakK. We were just discussing new users the other day and ways to help them learn best practices for the site. You've done step one, which is to say hello. Next step is to post a new thread in the  Premium group summarizing your novel(s) and asking for interested reviewers. You can subsequently use the thread for brainstorming with other members and for discussing feedback you've received. Be sure to respond to each review to acknowledge the effort of the reviewer. For inline reviews, you can even respond on a comment by comment basis, if you're so inclined. Finally, be sure to reciprocate by reviewing the works of those authors you wish to hang onto as long term reviewers. You need to review in order to accumulate points to post your own work. Don't be discouraged if you get some negative reviews. Those can be some of the most helpful. I had one reviewer years ago who told me to start over and why, so I did. The result was a much better second draft. It's your baby, though, so ignore whatever feedback you disagree with. Hope this helps.

Re: Welcome

Hello.

I'm new to the site, and I'll be using the seven-day trial to see if this is a good place for me. I'm looking to give and get useful, helpful feedback/critiques to better my writing. I am not new to online critiquing or writing but have had problems with other sites. I'm seeking several symbiotic critique/writing relationships. I do not take offense quickly. I am easy to get along with, creative, knowledgeable, and consistent. My default setting is to balance truth and kindness. I don't get off on giving harsh reviews. I'd rather give a helpful critique. And that's what I'd like in return.

I don't mind starting in mid-novel, but I am not qualified to give feedback on poetry.

Sorry to talk so much about me.

I hope to see you around.

Compai

Thanks, Randy. I appreciate the welcome.

Re: Welcome

Hi all! I'm new to the site and writing groups in general. It wasn't my intention to focus my energy on my writing, but here I am. Elementary level stories has become my happy place. I've already experienced, in my few days here, how much my writing can improve with the unbiased and helpful opinions of other writers. Thanks for having me.

Re: Welcome

Hello.
I signed up about 15 minutes ago, as of my writing this. I hope I can get something out of this different energy and community I'm sensing here, and give in turn.

Welcome to the site!
This is the place to be, for those serious about improving their writing skills. Of course, with a name like S. Clemens, you've already got a great start!  JP

Re: Welcome

Hello all,
I am a new member of this awesome community.
Started writing some bits couple of months ago. A PhD scholar though. I write because I love the freedom I get from it. No pressure, no deadlines, no judgement, just freedom. Absolutely love it.
Read some articles and reviews here, must say, it is really satisfying and motivating. I wish to stay here and learn some skills.
Thanks a lot.
Have a great day!

Hi, GS, welcome to the site. Learning is a two-way street; you'll probably teach us a lot along the way. Take care. Vern

Re: Welcome

Hello I am new here, and new to writing. I have never shared any of my writings with anyone before this. I am looking forward to doing so and to learning from other writers. I  glad I found this site.

I started writing recently for therapeutic reasons. I write about my experiences, sometimes in first person but most comfortably in third person. I have struggled and lived through a lot, so I have plenty of potential content. I just do not know what would be interesting for others to read and connect to. I am also having trouble finding my writing "voice". I would love any advice! And I can't wait to read some good stories.

I am on a 7 day trial. I don't know the cost of membership, but I doubt I will be able to afford it. I am an unemployed single mother transitioning careers. But I do appreciate any advice and critique during this week, and hopefully I will be able to come back soon after my trial is over. I just love the idea of this site.

Re: Welcome

Hi! I’m a new blogger in the last few months and am looking for feedback. I’m hoping to workshop my writings  into a book and have not had anyone read it besides friends. My dad recently passed and we both have a passion for the written word and I have been challenged by him to keep it going for him.

I have published my first blog post that caught people’s eyes on my journey with grief. I titled it The Odd Couple. I would love any feedback and look forward to reading others as well!

Thanks so much!

Hi, friend,
There are many more books than three, but you will need to join more groups to see them.  If you're not a member of the Premium Group, I would suggest joining (it's free to join any group).  Just go through the Group selections and pick out the ones that appear most active.  Once you join, the books posted in those groups will show up on the front page.

Cheers,
MJ
