I kept looking at this wording and I was confused.

    in·cred·u·lous
    inˈkrejələs/
    adjective
    adjective: incredulous
(of a person or their manner) unwilling or unable to believe something.
        "an incredulous gasp"
        synonyms:    disbelieving, skeptical, unbelieving, distrustful, mistrustful, suspicious, doubtful, dubious, unconvinced;
        cynical
"we were incredulous when the congressman was not more forthcoming in his first broadcast interview about the case"

Which word did you mean?

Re: Welcome

INCREDULOUS is the word I am using (unless I mess up the spelling, which apparently I did).  And yes, in our case "unbelievable, unable to believe something.....
is what I am writing about.  How can my husband Ken be dying from cancer?  I am writing a novella about our experiences from the time we met until we can no longer be together.  I thank you so much for catching this error. I will check to be sure I didn't mess in other spots.

Re: Welcome

I'm like a rabbit staring into high beam lights.  Looks great, so much to take in. Hey all and well done to TNBW crew who put this together.
Awsome .

Re: Welcome

I agree.  ...like a rabbit staring into high beam lights is a good description. I find taking time every day to read and absorb is helping me get the feel of things. I second the congrats to TNBW crew for an incredible job. It is indeed, awesome.

Re: Welcome

Hello, everyone!

I used TNBW a looong time ago but took a few years off from writing. WOW, this site looks really different now! But...where is everyone? How do we interact? Do we need a water cooler?

Re: Welcome

I am still have trouble finding my way around. I did find the old site forum access was easier for me to fine quickly.  But I will return.
I am not sure how we easily interact. but sure would like to know!

Hi Sol, I'm loving how you revamped the site. I learned so much when I first joined the old site so I look forward to honing my skills even more on this new and improved site.

Re: Welcome

Hi. I have been active on the site for about 5 days. I have been so productive, I haven't got this much accomplished in months. The editing review process is incredibly helpful. I have learned so much both editing and being edited. Thanks to all who have read my work.

Re: Welcome

Looking forward to learning about the site and any ideas, tips, thoughts, explanations, etc. anyone has. I am reading all posts.

Re: Welcome

Hi Amcii, check out the WELCOME NEWCOMERS thread started by Linda Lee in the TNBW Basic group. Also, click that new ? button near the upper right of your screen for FAQs, videos, etc. And try to make connections, especially with writers you intend to review long term. That way you'll be notified via email every time one of them posts a new piece of work. Don't hesitate to post questions, either in genre-specific groups, the Writing Tips & Advice group, or in Premium (for the widest possible exposure).

Welcome to the site.

Pick a few writers in your genre and review their work.  Some of them will reciprocate.

Re: Welcome

Hello all... what's shakin'?

It's been awhile, but I always come back eventually.

Re: Welcome

Not sure where to get assistance.

I can't read the in line reviews without paying for premium, but then... it won't allow me an option to pay for premium.

If I can't access reviews during the "trial" period, it's not going to be much of a trial period.

If I can't just go ahead and pay to see reviews either, well...

Yeah, got nothing.

Re: Welcome

Hello,
Have you been on the trial period for more than 7 days?

I had a bit of a dig through the site, and while I can't seem to find anything that allows you to "upgrade", it looks like once you get beyond 7 days your trial period will expire.

At that point I can only assume it'll give you the option to upgrade.

I'm afraid I can't be of more help than that......
