Since I downloaded Grammarly (4 years ago), that's been my default spellchecker... I can't remember if one existed before.

Hi Sol,

I know this isn't a priority on your "to-do" list, but I vainly tried to upload pictures into the chapter "editor's window." It used to work fine. But it seems you've outsourced the function to a secondary server (?): "CK Finder Google Chrome." When I try to upload, a pop-up appears with the message: "Image source URL is missing." When I tap "Browse Server," I'm taken to the CK Finder server, and another pop-up message appears: "System Error." After hitting "OK," the screen shows the page where Folders/Pictures can be uploaded, but the uploading function is defunct.

Would you please look into it and let me know if this is a feature the site is no longer offering (if so, the pix function should be removed from the editor's window so nontechies, like me, aren't getting frustrated), or if it is a bug in the system, will it be fixed?

Thank you,
~Lynn

Thank you, Sol. The billing on my account through 7/16/24 is correct.

Barry, based on Dirk's word calculation, 136,000/320=425 points that it will cost you to repost your novel.
God, I hate story problems.

Sol, I, too, pitch my thanks into the well of gratitude for pulling us from the brink of cyber destruction. A daunting task indeed. Well done!

Alan, welcome back. It's good to see familiar faces returning. Sorry to hear about your wife's health. As Dirk said, I can't imagine the stress you are both under. You are a prince among men to be by her side so vigilantly. I wish you both a speedy recovery.
Warm regards and best wishes to you both.

You go, girl! Yes. I had to houseclean and get rid of the spider's and cobwebs.

Sol, this is hardly a significant issue, but while we're upgrading, enhancing, and working on picture uploads, can we update or debug the picture function within the chapters? It asks for a URL source that doesn't exist or is defunct; it used to work (?)
Thank you.

The book cover picture problem seems fixed. Just uploaded mine. Still waiting on the profile pic to upload.
Thanks, Sol.

Yay! You're live, girl. I am thrilled to see your name lit. Wow! I share your sentiments. It's good to see life returning to planet TNBW, albeit at a slow crawl.

Sol says it's a bug and will be corrected. I went ahead and paid for one month to get on and check my work, then sent you a connection request.

Sol, for those who lost data (books, stories, etc.) and wish to repost their work (chapters), will you waive the Publishing Point fee and/or extend X amount of credit, say 500 points per Premium member? This will encourage existing members to repost, help to repopulate the site with updated work and bring the activity level back to a sense of normalcy.

Sol, I sent several messages about pro-rating, the six months you offered in addition to paying an additional month to reactivate my Premium membership for a total of ten months. Please confirm.
Thank you.

I sent a message to Sol yesterday, and again this morning. Still no word. I was able to do a regular review for someone but still can't edit.
