What is your operating system, Lesley? if it is Windows, there will be a Notepad. Just right-click on an empty space on your desktop and select "New --- Text Document". Don't even bother to change the name from "new Test Document.TXT". then do the copy/paste bit.

If you are on Linux, then use GEDIT in place of Notepad.

That is a very good idea, Karen. The normal shuttle crew is being transported to the space center and an 'as yet unidentified person or persons (newscaster quote)' tossed 'a device' under the van which caused it to dodge severely and overturn. Crew isn't hurt, but must go through a flight physical before being returned to duty. 'Police are rounding up the usual suspects in an attempt to find out who did it. As s result, all protesters have been moved to a secure facility for questioning.'

I think the length of time varies, Janet. I've had my posts pop up almost right away, and other times it took a while. You can make it happen almost immediately if you make sure you have the various groups checked (even if you don't change anything) and click the Save button. That resets the 'new postings' list and puts your right at the top.

Presumably, the flight crews were picked following a good psych evaluation. Any tension should be directed at a given problem (or problems) by the whole crew instead of each other. It would be possible to add just a little personal tension, but nothing major.

Well, one thing you might consider is to have Reese send up his #2 as pilot and #3 as co-pilot for a brief shuttle flight. Practice makes perfect, and if #2 hasn't actually commanded a flight, then how is Reese to be sure of his capabilities?

Extra Vehicular Activity, Karen. I like that idea. For tension on the flight, you could have a blocked launch tube with a misfiring comms satellite that requires a person to go EVA and clear the mess up. I would suggest that maintenance crews be delegated to that task. Flight crews are for Aurora herself and the shuttles.
