I really love the way new works are listed by category. But I notice there is category for "New Poetry" and another for "New Poems." They contain different works. The reduction of cover size is a good idea to allow more per screen. I have a problem with scrolling and clicking which seem to have increased on this site. So the changes on the home screen are gratefully received.

This does sound like a bug. So, you didn't actually enter the poem twice but instead simply added the Premium group? If that's the case, you shouldn't have two versions of the poem. I'll try testing this a bit more.

Thank you, Norm. It ALL comes back to me now.

I have searched and searched and can't find the place where I can put in a writer's name and see a list of writing by that author.
Can anybody help? I think I've done it before but can't remember how.

My Home page shows 1 in-line review reply. When I go to view it I see the message, "In-line review posted on removed content." A garbage can appears to the right and when I clicked it, I get a request to verify, and when I do, a screen appears with an error message "The website cannot display the page."

The list of regular reviews is absolutely perfect. Thank you for listening to our needs. The date of publication and review is especially helpful. Now we can see at a glance who we need to reciprocate. Yes, having a list on the Sent reviews is a need, so I'm happy to hear you are working on it.
We have so much to be thankful for, and this site is one near the top of the list.

Thank you cobber. 1. I missed the logo/home instructions, I guess. Got it now. (On my screen, the logo is on the left, not the right.) 2.  In the old system the Forum button let us go to the list of forum threads with the most recent threads highlighted. We could enter a new thread or read old threads. 3.  Thank you, thank you, for working on the print function in the future. If this weren't something I need to do to extract my updated workshopped text, frequently, I wouldn't mention it as a need.

Yes, spooky, how cobber has morphed into Sol in a few short minutes.

1. I have to access my Portfolio before the HOME button displays. 2. How can I go directly to the Forums? Could there be a Forum button in my drop-down menu? 3. On the old site we could print a story/poem/chapter by hitting a print button. Now, to get a hard copy I have been highlighting the text, copy and paste it in a Word document, then print it. And most of the time the system balks at letting me copy the whole piece at one time. Is there a simple way already in the system and I'm just to inept to find it?

Vern, strangely, the second occurrence appears with a "No" in the published column. The poem does appear in all three groups, so that worked. Thanks for your answer. I'll delete the rogue at once.

I tried what you advised but fumbled about and couldn't make it work. Then I tried going to Action, and clicked on Publish Setup
and revised the groups for posting to include the Premium Group. This worked. I need to create a manual of my own
for processes like this, because I can't find out how to find one on this site.

I originally published a piece on two non-points groups and now want to publish it on the Premium group to which I belong. Is there a quick way I can do this without having to go through the entire publishing routine?

Thank you Sol. I'll try the alt-tab thingie and hope I don't mess something up.

No. I think you're right. I see your points. I didn't know the groups allowed were expanded. Thanks for the info. I'm still learning the nuts and bolts of this site. It seems with every new feature there are new rules about things I assumed. I love the new site, though.

Could this be a forum thread rather than a group? We have a limited number of groups we can join.

I love in-line reviews when I'm leaving a review line by line, but I'm with you when it comes to using a received in-line review -- can't print out anything but the summary comment at the end. Perhaps this can be remedied. This is not a huge problem to me because I take my hard copy of the work and mark it up using the in-line suggestions on specific lines. For now, that works just fine.

Item 1 is how I am using it. Like a Like.

I assumed it was a way I could keep track of works I had reviewed, so I shelved everything I reviewed. THen I noticed that shelved books seem to be published novels. So I stopped using shelfit. This does need clarification.

I have been looking for a group such as this where I can air some thoughts about workshopping, writing,
and especially about reviewing -- what makes a helpful review -- and how to respond to reviews. I've lately
been reading Mary Oliver's "A Poetry Handbook" in which she has a whole section on workshops, the pros and cons,
and how to give and receive good criticism. I'll share some of this later.

I also like that I'm not taken to a login screen every five minutes. My log-in remains active even when I've left
the site and returned. This is very good.

I had a blank in-line review when the new site became active from someone who was learning the ropes.
He later left a good in-line review. This probably explains the occurrence of blank in-line reviews -- not a bug
in the system, but us newbies floundering while learning. I love the in-line review process. Good work!

On the old site I could print a submission by using the "print" button of the displayed story, poem or chapter. can this be done on the new site?

I'm not sure how to do it, or even if it can be done, but can I move my free verse poetry that will be in my Inheritance chapbook into the Free Verse Poets group? Another question: When I post a poem here in this group, does it also appear automatically on the other groups I've joined? If it doesn't, can I move it there while leaving it in this group? In other words, can a poem show up in more than one group? If anyone can help me answer these questions, I'd be grateful. I don't know where to post these questions on the Forum, because I can't find out how to do that, either.  HELP.

bluetoothwirele left an in-line review to my poem Flight, but I can't see the review. The poem shows 0 in-line reviews but when I go to my "reviews" page I see I have 1in-line review.

Word seems to be malfunctioning. It was fine at first but last night it became very slow, even stops completely while I go on typing keystrokes. I thought it might be my keyboard, but works fine everywhere but on TNBW. Is anyone else experiencing this?
