Topic: Let us know what you're working on

Hi everyone

Just a reminder that this is the place where you can start a new and dedicated topic to your WIP.  Let us know what it is about, if you need help or just to let us know how it is progressing.  It is also the best place to discuss any feedback further.

Cheers
Janet R

I'm working on a novel about a girl who lives in the Bell Becker Culture in Ancient Britain. I'm thinking of calling it "The Soothsayer"

Good news!  But first Drech needs to get busy!  smile

Re: Let us know what you're working on

Yeah. I need to finish Drech. I've been on his story for far too long! Haha!

Re: Let us know what you're working on

I'm frantically working on revisions to enter my MS into the RWA Golden Heart contest. All the comments made here have really helped me to fix the troublesome areas of my MS - Earthly Force. If anyone has a chance, I'd really appreciate reviews on the synopsis that I loaded. I created a new document for that so it wouldn't be confused with the actual MS.

Re: Let us know what you're working on

I'm working on the last chapters of my WIP Beyond Paradise. Trying to get it together and enter it in Amazon's Breakthrough Novel Award 2015....Made the first two rounds last year, and hope to go further this year. Also want to look into ebook publishing in the new year.....

Re: Let us know what you're working on

There's a lot of good stories going around here lately!
Philisha, Denise - Good luck!  I'm crossing my fingers and toes because I've really enjoyed reading EF and BP, it would be really nice to them do well!

Re: Let us know what you're working on

The minute I get done with uploading Sister Margaret, I'll be finishing up on my romantic suspense novel Whose Paddy Is He Anyway?  It's the second of a 3 part series.

Re: Let us know what you're working on

Rebecca, I can't get enough Drech. He has a long way to go. Linda, I'm ready to get back to Paddy, but am loving Sister M. Reading something by everybody else on here who's commented. I'm writing the third in my Laura Beth Copeland Misadventures--It's entitled Skin Deep. Have finished the bones of Bone Dry. But I have a hundred projects going at once. Still trying to get Broken to print by 2/13/15. And then Whatever It Takes in the fall. Raiford Chronicles will all be available for purchase. Then I think I might go with my April Chastaine Intrigues.

Re: Let us know what you're working on

I don't know how you do that Janet. I can work on multiple shorts, or smallish pieces at once, but not novels. I guess if I outlined it wouldn't be as bad but still, once I immerse into the characters and their world, I stick with them until the rough is done. Editing and rewriting on the other hand doesn't effect me the same way. It's detailed and picky but not nearly as mentally taxing to me.

Re: Let us know what you're working on

I'm working on Daughter of Aithne, which is the 3rd and final installment of a romantic fantasy series. I'm working toward a late 2015 release, but we'll see.  I'd appreciate any feedback you all have to give. If you haven't read the first 2 books, no problem; I'd like to see if this one can stand on its own.
