Topic: Hello

I have been away for a very long time and missed being here (or rather there at the old site). I reckon I'll get the feel for this new place given enough time drifting here and there through the menu.
While away I have written and published several more novels and short stories. What I like about this site is the ability to read the work of writers who aspire to great writing. Reviews by peers who want to help is the best climate for a beginning writer. Reviews by peers who tear into a submission is a wonderful thing. A writer learns his craft through constructive suggestions.
I am looking forward to reading and meeting the many new authors who have joined while I was away.

Hi, Terry! It sounds as though your time away has been well spent. The new site has its strengths and weaknesses, just as the old one did. The biggest change being the format for the forums. But, I'm sure you'll find the changes easy to navigate. Welcome back!

Welcome back. The new site is a bit different, but jump in the water and you'll be riding the waves shortly with no problem. Of course it might just be body surfing along the rocky coast for a while, lol. Take care. Vern

Hi Terry:  Welcome back; I find myself also feeling my way through the new website, having been away for a while.  Not nearly as productive, writing wise, as you've been.  Sounds like you are really on top of things.  Congrats on all your success and again, good to see you again.
