I'm a Florida Native. Yes, we exist.

I'm a fourth-generation-Floridian, to be exact. And, even after a fair amount of travel, I still choose to reside in the town of my birth, the tourist Mecca that is Orlando. My hometown is so culturally diverse, you can hear languages and sample cuisines from almost every nation within these city limits. It doesn’t pay to be a xenophobe.

Raised in south Florida during the 70’s (in a “lower-middle-income” family), I now have two grown sons, with kids of their own. Along with this small band, my husband of fifteen years is my source of joy and inspiration.
