A note about my reviews -- I take writing seriously, and I enjoy giving feedback on other people's work. That's mostly why I'm here. The only time I will give out five stars is if I think the piece should be sent out to a publisher or agent. Naturally, the vast majority of writing here is not yet at that stage. Honestly, I caution writers to be wary of gushing reviews. If it is your goal to be published, and I can only assume it is, you should keep in mind that most people are not nearly as discriminating as your typical publisher. My goal here is to give an honest opinion of where your work stands in its readiness to be submitted. I hope my comments are helpful.
