The best way to describe myself, I am a sixty-nine year old wanna-be author. It has been a life long dream to be published. To keep myself pre-occupied, I have spent twenty years selling heavy equipment, covering the entire United States and Canada. The last twenty-five years I have been in construction estimating and project management. Anything to keep me too busy to write.
When my wife of twenty-two years started giving me formaldehyde for after shave lotion, I had an epiphany in which I realized the time to put this project off, had come to an end.
One of the hindrances for me going forward was the uncertainty of how to lay out my book, format etc. etc. Joining this website has taken that out of the equation. Now I am moving forward with confidence.
In Decermber of 2015 my beautiful wife passed away, which really took the wind out of my sails for about six months. It wasn't until I realized I had promised her that I would finish this book that I got off my ass and went back to work, with a vengence. The help I am getting here has been invaluable.
"The Next Big Writer" has been an absolute Godsend for me and I am sure the same for countless others.
