I am a poet and writer, a wife, mother and grandmother . . . a sister and friend . . . I am a woman! All these roles aside, beneath everything else, I am a human being who inhabits planet earth in this time and space along with you. I have dreams and hopes for our species, longings for our children and the earth they'll inherit, and a passion for freedom and human dignity. I write because the sand is running quick through the funnel and the bridge at the end of the road gets closer every day. My heart is an open book, scribbled on pages for you to read. Hopefully, my poems and words will touch you and add to your life. That is my wish and my blessing. I am a published author of a Children's Fairytale Book "Wanda the Wilopent" Two of my poems have been published in A Splash of Verse 2007 and Shadow's Ink Poetry Chapbook 2007
