I am here to write & learn. I usually write & post (on other sites) without much afterthought. I appreciate the feedback but now, I am ready to "hone" my writing with (hopefully) the encouragement of the wonderful writers & reviewers of this site. I write what I'm "in the mood" for...family or friends experiences, personal experiences, spiritual, dark moods, sensuality. I consider myself a kind-of schizophrenic writer. Maybe I will stick to one topic someday but, for now it's whatever's on my mind & I like it that way, expressing in my writing what my mind is "stuck on" that day. Photography is also a passion of mine as well. I capture nature (especially macro) photography and candids of people (especially children when they're not "hamming it up" for the camera). I also have dabbled in watercolor painting (taken occassionaly from my own photos). I also collect "old" books (anything before the 1950's); 2 favorites include a 1937 John Steinbeck & a 1945 C.S. Lewis.
