Profile Information

I was born and raised in NY, went to undergrad. school at Oneonta State. Moved to El Paso, TX to teach school in the Colonias on the border of Mexico. Had a child. Went to grad. school in Texas. Moved back to NY after 13 years of being in Texas. Had to leave my 10-year-old dog, a German Shepherd/Rottweiler Mix there. I have been living in NY for 4 years working in a community college as an instructor and now at BOCES as an ESL teacher. I am also starting to do workshops on "Writing As Healing." My daughter is now 12.
