I'm a teacher and mother with kids and I live in Cape York, Australia. We live in an Indigenous, remote, mining town and live for the outdoors and adventure. I thought I'd try my hand at writing stories that would interest teens and young adults, be realistic and relative to their lives and encourage them to read something other than vampire rubbish. The book, yet to be named, is about a teenage girl, Sam Tucker and her friends living in Cape York as they encombass adventure, fear and their own personal demons and desires. All feedback welcomed - Do you like the characters? Are they relatable? I know my grammar is awful so feel free to give me advice about parts to rewrite and anything else in between. Thanks!
