I love reading self-published vamp/werewolf novels. Of course I am a Kindle Unlimited subscriber. My biggest complaint about many self-published are the way they advertise/sell their serial novels. I understand the concept: get the reader hooked so they will keep more stuff. My pet peeve is when a couple of chapters are thrown together and then sold as a complete book. This is deceitful. Don't do that! I have become good at avoiding these authors. If I do fall for their deceitful marketing practices, I will return the book (if possible) and give them a bad review regardless of whether or not I liked the plot. If you have written a good book, you do not need to resort to deceptive marketing practices to sell it.
I am in the proces of writing my first novel. I hope this that critique it will be brutally honest. I don't need sugar coating. I don't want someone telling me how good it is when it is a piece of crap. Remember this if you ask me to critique yours. I will not sugar coat. If it is good, I will tell you. If it needs work, I will point out thoughtful suggestions. If it is worthless and a piece of crap, I will tell you that too.
