The top of the morning to ye all...or the bottom of the afternoon (depending on when ye read this). I'd just like to say a great big 'Cead Mile Failte'(which means 'one hundred thousand welcomes') to me bio. Now where will I begin? Sure what better place to start than at the very begining. Once upon a time there was a bonny wee darling child who hated wearing shoes, eating crusts and having its long curly hair combed. One day this very same darling child grew up to be an even more darling adult who still hated wearing shoes, eating crusts and having its hair combed. But now there were two strapping sons and a spouse to take care of. I'll have ye all know that many tasks were undertaking to provide the family with a 'bit' for their mouths and a roof over their heads. Mind ye t'was a long, hard road at times. But thanks be to God and all the Holy saints and angels the end result was worth all the blood, sweat and tears. What was that ye say? What was the end result? Ahh, sure that'd be only telling. Sure haven't ye all been blessed with fine imaginations! And what with yer ease of penmanship, sure couldn't ye come up with a grand end result yerselves? For now I'm looking forward to reading what ye lot have already written. Ye have me word I'll be as gentle on ye as I can be. But I warn ye...I'm not known for me soft tongue or me mild manner. There's no doubting I'll be a hard on ye but I'll be fair too. But there's no need to fear or panic, at all at all, for yer work is in very safe hands indeed. Sure aren't we Irish known for our love of story telling, to be sure to be sure. Tis without a shadow of a doubt that we have the highest regard for the written and spoken word. May I take this opportunity to wish ye all the very best of luck in yer writing careers. Slan.
