Aged 60, I am a retired nurse, usherette, counter-assistant, office clerk... you name it, I have done it. Been a centre-lathe turner, a welder and a weaver. I recently won the Carla Lane section of a BBC Scriptwriting Competition and am writing two novels and short stories. I love Whodunits and Historical Sagas.
