m. c. squared Profile

Hello all of you aspiring writers. My name is Michael and I live in morgantown WV . I was invited to this site by a friend of mine because of two main reasons, one is that I am an AVID reader (though I mostly stick to the fantasy and sci-fi genre) and the second is that she knows that I have been wanting to write a book for years. I have tried many times but i have always allowed something to stop me. Weather it was because I lost the notebook I started writing in, or I ran out of ideas , or after rereading what I had written i decided it sounded silly and the chance of anyone reading it was EXTREMELY slight so I threw it out and started over, or any number of reasons that were more prevalently important in only my mind. Plus I have a tendency to make up words sometimes I dont really know why. It just tends to happen occasionally. However I have recently come to realize that writing for myself and not for others is a good first step to making something happen. Oh well, hopefully I will learn from the endevors of others and be able to move along with my own.
