Writing was a refuge in my early childhood, a place where I could escape the daily cruel tauntings of bullies at my school. I never even considered it a career, but now, at this point in my life, having ventured down different directions, trying to "get a real job", I've come to the conclusion that there isn't anything else but being a writer for me.
