Of course, being a member of this wonderful community of readers and writers, you must already know I love the written word. What you may not know is that I also enjoy cooking, kayaking, budget-friendly interior design, and my work, finding rental homes for nice folks. My dear husband and our adult daughters all live near each other in Cocoa, Florida, on the "Space Coast", which is where the shuttles are launched. Our town gets mighty crowded then, with people coming in from all over the world to watch and hope and pray the astronauts will be safe during the latest space mission. I am originally from Virginia, lived in Miami for most of my life, and am a mother of 3, a grandmother of 5, and a great-grandmother of 2, and still have a giant crush on my husband.
