Originally graduating in science from Monash University, Australia, this ex punk rocker and one time police man on the popular Australian television series ‘Blue Heelers’, is now a travel writer, having visited some thirty-five countries. A jet-set vagabond and citizen of the world, Aaron is a professional drifter, part time card shark, scuba dive master and yoga teacher. An out of work truck driving actor, table waiting musician and barman philosopher, he is a general dog’s body, Jack of all trades who currently works part time in Brazil as an English teacher. He has decided to take a ‘gap decade’ to explore far flung corners of the globe like Indiana Jones and write about them like an X-Gener’s Hunter S Thompson. Currently he is in and out of the Amazon Jungle researching his next book about shamanic tourism. He has interviewed various platitude spouting quixotic gringos and shamanic sharks, gate crashed religious cults, lived with cannibal Indians and is still searching for Elvis.
