Born,1936; Worked as a teacher of Geology in some of the most pioneer colleges of the country; in serious literary work since 1962 both in English and Bengali (my mother tongue); started writing science fiction novels since 1974 seven of which have been publushed within 1989; topical writings since 1984, first for my subject, then for subjects history, analytical history of Mahabharata; two encyclopedic dictionaries of Earth Sciences in Bengali and English running several editions. All the dates are of publication.
