I am writing a science fiction story called Strangelove Octopus.
I have been working on a comic book version where I do all the writing and artwork. I have always been a creative person but my creativity has mostly been visual. I do a lot of writing for my comic book ideas but they have always been limited to rough outlines, dialogue, and short sequences over rough sketch panels. I have written a few rough drafts of story ideas, but I have never had much confidence in myself as a writer, but I would like to change this. I think jumping into this writing project feet first will be what I need to develop my skills as a writer, including voice, as well as grammar, and through this, I hope to build the confidence and style that I need to become the writer I need to be, to tell my story.
I drink a lot of coffee and I have a hairless sphynx cat named Neptune.
