Greetings, I am excited you have decided to read my BIO if this is your first time, and if you are revisiting; I am enthusiastic, and elated you have decided to return.
It has been a joy being apart of TheNextBigWriter, and I cannot begin to tell you of the support, readers, and motivation I have received. It has been a tremendous euphoric high, and I am tremendously blessed. As I embark into the New Year, I have decided to incorporate some changes in my life that will be a great challenge in the upcoming year.
To date I have submitted a delegate nomination package for a delegate seat for the GNA (Board of Nursing). While that is a new era in my life for me I have also decided to fulfill another mission, a decision long contemplated and long overdue.... but yet, I am steadfast to see what comes out of it. I have decided to lend my hand in politics, because the people need a voice that cares, and a person that will bring fairness to the forum for all Americans. I have not decided which route or position I will take but I am looking at all possibilities. I wish to thank honorable Congresswoman Pelosi, for allowing women like myself and others to know that women are still here, our voices can still be heard, we can get the job done, we do matter and have a place in the House, and we can make a difference. I will continue to write and re-edited my upcoming book "WHIPLASH", I have been blessed with a very intelligent literary agent, and I look to have "WHIPLASH" published later this year. I am currently also working on a humorous book, about two elderly people falling in love. This will be something new for me, as far as surfacing the humor side of me.
As a nurse I will continue to support my comrades in the military here and abroad, and remain active as a Veteran/Army nurse. I will continue to provide humanitarian support to under-privilege children.
Early this year, I will have two additional grandsons to the family, a beautiful gift, I am overwhelmed with happiness, as well as being called Grandma. I pledge, that we adhere to The NextBig Writer, and read and continue to support each other works, and purchase each other books; being pro-active in support enables, and enhances writers/authors the ammunition and drive for upcoming works, remember it doesn't makes us rich (lol).
Please be on the look out for the Women's Book Conference 2007 scheduled to be held in Augusta, Ga, and men are welcome to attend as well. So keep your calendar open for 2 days of networking, showcasing your works, selling and having some fun. It is going to be about GREATNESS, that's my matta for this year.
Once again, I wish to thank AD for allowing me to be apart of this great organization, and I wish each and everyone a prosperous New Year and new beginnings.

I am an inspiring writer who can remember writing bedtime short stories for my sister at a tender age of 9 years old. My writing will continue until I have no more thoughts. So, who am I: I am a mother of 3 beautiful offspring’s, and a pushover for my grandson. I am the daughter to Lonza and Lizzie prominent teachers that have loved, taught and equipped me with tools to survive in a world that can sometimes consume you if you are not careful. I am a nurse, compassionate from the heart, yet easily vulnerable if not careful, giving quietly to humanitarian causes not openly expressed. But, yet there is a side of me that is firm, cautious, and sometimes a loner, causing me to pluck at the keyboard more freely. I am a woman, a feminist, and a Holiness woman, yet having my own ideas about my spirituality; after-all, you must have an intimate relationship with Him. But with so many aspects of my well being, I am meek, shy and sometimes a procrastinator that asserts my adrenalin charge. To sum it up... Who am I? I am just a plain strong warm-hearted woman who enjoys expressing my thoughts on paper for others to enjoy and to know “Yes I Can.
