G.L. Dearman was born on a life raft adrift in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Owing to his freakish height (7'6" at birth), he was soon shanghaied by agents of Prussian Kaiser Frederich Wilhelm I to serve in the Potsdam Grenadiers. Over the course of a series of swashbuckling swordfighting scenes, he managed to escape, thanks to his sharp wits, his command of Haitian Kreyol, his willingness to disguise himself as a Russian babushka, and the help of a talking snail named Pierre (God rest your soul, mon frere.). G.L. currently resides in Fibber McGee's closet, where he is employed as a shelf. He has an extra testicle, bringing his total number of testicles to two. In his spare time, he enjoys eating bananas.
