Feature Writer Franca Bartella, Author and Co-Founder of Pancake Puddle Books Inc., began her career as an assistant teacher, and has been working with children and their families for over 20 years. Adding to her strong background in visual arts, Franca is pursuing a career in photography at the New York Institute of Photography. Expanding her love for writing, Franca created a blog, The Wonder of Women, in 2011. She strives to empower women to take control of their lives and become emotionally healthy. By using a combination of written information, visual aids and quotes this blog is able to connect and resonate with women and others. Positivity and faith are underlining themes in Franca’s blog, which are coupled with a sense of community to bring women and families together. A variety of topics are discussed from mental health, self-esteem, empowerment and helping others, to religious influences our lives.
