I have a BA in English with an emphasis in fiction writing, including a few MFA courses, from the University of Minnesota. I co-founded a monthly writing group, spent 5 years as a bookseller, and of course, I am an avid reader. I was also an annual bookstore poetry judge and a fiction editor for the U of M's literary Magazine. My favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy but I have been known to read literary fiction, humor, travel, nature, memoirs and whatever else looks good on my shelf or strikes my fancy. On a personal level i'm a geeky nerd and love comics and movies and tv and video games and...well the list could go on and on. I love animals and between my twin sister (who i live with) and i we have 1 horse, 4 dogs, 3 guinea pigs, 4 rats, 3 fish and 2 cockatiels.
