I like to read, write, and teach. I like science fiction and fantasy, astronomy, Earth sciences, biographies, some classics, mysteries, humor, and movies. Interests include filmmaking, photography, birds, Japanese maples, gadgets, computer games, cars, and history is presently an emerging interest. I like cats and dogs for pets.
I’ve led an unremarkable life, but have a few personal accomplishments that are meaningful to me. In terms of writing, I am self taught (it shows) and have many favorite authors to include this partial list:
Issac Asimov, Alan Bradly, Kurt Vonnegut, Mark Twain, Trudi Canavan, Andre Norton, Silverberg, Zelazny, and many many more. Too many to have one favorite. On this site I am particlarly fond of Amy S., Lucy Rice, Loulou S, Flowing Pencil, JL MO, Odin Rourke, and others. I haven't got around to everyone yet :-) but will perservere.
I have completed 1 novel, “Fragile Demons,” a Star Trek Novel, that is published on this site I’ve been published in a few professional journals, but nothing remotely mainstream. I also have a few essays, and short stories. I try to be a real nice guy. you may contact me at ethor63@gmail.com.
