Dawn Stovey was raised in Oxford, Michigan along with her sister Tracy; by their Mother Jane Stokes and grandparents Dave and Jane Neff. In 2004 Dawn graduated with an associate’s degree in Fine Art from Oakland Community College. For several years after worked as a home health aide. Dawn married the love of her life David Stovey in 2011. Dawn began writing poetry as a teenager but didn’t take writing seriously until recently. She was always interested in the macabre and supernatural thus eventually took to writing about it.
