I'm a divorced, proud mother of one son, in college. I currently work as an independent contractor paralegal with the federal government, after a 20-yr career with Department of Defense. I was fortunate enough to have travelled quite a bit with my work, to include a brief stay in Tokyo. I love to travel and my last trip was to Ireland, England, and France in 2008 with my son. I've wanted to return and have even toyed around with the idea of permanently relocating. This is how the housesitting saga began, when I started searching for information on ways to travel abroad. I also enjoy cooking, gardening, and all kinds of music and theater.
