My niece was murdered as a result of Domestic Violence and so I have committed to fighting against it. I have a passion especially for the family that remains specifically the children because I suddenly realise that there are so many children who have been living in an abusive home and as a result the world seems to becoming more violent when the true picture is that there are so many broken people who the world does not realise need help and we continue every day without stopping to help them. There is a pain that cannot be patched up and an aching that unless is addressed adequately can be corrosive. I have never written anything before but I have found that reading what others have written and seeing how others have coped has had a huge impact on my life.
