Walter A. Carmona Profile

Born in New york to Cuban/Italian imigrants. Mom died at four, went to live in Cuba during the revolution. From 11 to 16 lived in rough orphanage in New York. Began learning martial arts at 9. Graduated high school joined the Army and became a Ranger(Special Forces) Went to college after that and earned degree in Political Science then in Social Studies Education. Taught high school social/political science as well as science, languages and art.Began writing in 1988 and first published novel in 2003 on international espionage and war. I continue to practice and teach various martial arts and am an avid climber and skier, spending much time in the powder every winter. I love to write and incorporate my experiences in life into my writng.I'm married( but on the verge of divorce) with two great boys ages 12 & 10. I also compose new age acoustic piano music and hope to publish some of that also.
