Although I never considered myself a writer, I have always surrounded myself with artisans of all fields. In March of last year I had a story come to me in a way I couldn't ignore. I had to write. I had given up on even the simple task of journaling in my teens but never quite evaded my muse. She beat me over the head in March. I finished 135,000 words in August and have been using my time this year editing and rewriting. I have shaved a substantial portion of the original book and have taken on many other writing projects in the interim. I am looking forward to the opinions and education only other writers can give. This looks like a great forum.
