Sasaki Profile

I worked as a legal secretary for 19 years and taught high school and middle school English for seven years. I've been telling my friends that I'd like to write short stories -- can you believe for three DECADES -- and to a person, they believed me. They have given me writing books, journals, engraved pens, and undying support. My children have left the nest and I have been retired for two years, leaving me with no more excuses. I have taken a few writing classes and participated in writing workshops but my story ideas and drafts invariably end up in a file drawer or a box. I realize that my time on this planet is finite and I am so happy to have found this website. All feedback has been helpful and my strategy is to delete posted work when I feel it is almost ready so I can concentrate on another project.
