For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed writing. Having spent most of my life in the computer field, I was afraid to leave the security of a good job to persue the career that I believe would have brought me more pleasure. A few years ago, I wrote a novel written as fiction and nonfiction. Some of it depicts my life. I had it professionally critiqued but have always hesitated to see if it could be published. My primary fear is the rejection slips that I hear so much about. I'm trying now to get the courage to take the giant step and see if I am any good.
