Michael Jameson Profile

Hi,

My pen name is Michael Jameson, I'm twenty six years old and live in a small town in west Yorkshire. I love to read and write, though it wasn't until earlier this year I gained the courage to publish my work. Up until now I have never let anyone read my works. 

Mainly because I'm firm believer that every author leaves a little of themselves in each story they tell. And to me it is the most vulnerable and soul baring thing you can do. Which in turn stirs up an intense fear of it not being good enough.

I also fear the legendary coined phrase 'write what you know' not because I don't know anything but because my family take this particular phrase to heart. Which is why I have a pen name, this way I don't have to worry about them peering over my shoulder trying to work out if any of my characters have been based on them.

There not much else to tell you guys about me, outside my writing and devouring of books. I live a very mundane life. Oh and I will apologize here for any spelling mistakes I may make on my characters, I am dyslexic and I do have read through my work a few times before posting and even then I still miss a lot. So please bare with me.
