Mark was a high school English teacher for 29 years and has been a freelance writer for 20 years. He shoots black powder and SASS (cowboy shooting). He is a member of Western Writers of America and the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators. Mark has published the first five books in a middle grade series and twenty-five articles and short stories.
